Granite Powder

This pure granite powder, sourced from a local quarry on Bornholm, can be used as a glaze on its own – just add water and mix. It also serves as a natural colorant to customize your own glazes. Sold per 1kg bag.

Instructions of use:

1. Wear a dust mask when mixing your own glazes due to silica dust in the granite powder
2. Mix it with water, it is recommended to add 1-2% of bentonite to make a better suspension in the water
3. Thick application can create bubbles | Thin application will give a smooth glossy surface
4. Temperature: cone 7 (1260 degrees celsius) and upwards. For lower temperature simply add a fritte or flux.

The granite quarry of Bornholm supplies these materials as by-products, no new resources were extracted.
